Too many victims find themselves searching for answers across multiple organisations, websites, and professionals, often receiving bits of information that can feel confusing, inconsistent, or incomplete. When you're already dealing with the impact of abuse, navigating a complex criminal justice system shouldn't be something you have to do alone.
Renegade Advocacy was built from both lived experience and professional experience within the criminal justice sector. I understand the realities of the system, the challenges victims face, and the questions that often go unanswered.
Sometimes support means helping you understand what is happening. Sometimes it means identifying the right questions to ask, at the right time, to the right person. Sometimes it means helping you regain a sense of control and predictability during a process that can often feel overwhelming and uncertain.
My role is not to make decisions for you, but to ensure you have the information, understanding, and confidence to make informed decisions for yourself.

BOOKING A CONSULTATION
Renegade Advocacy is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Initial consultations are typically conducted by telephone, providing a flexible and accessible way to discuss your situation, ask questions, and explore your options.
Thereafter, face-to-face consultations are available by arrangement in Belfast City Centre.
While every victim's experience and case is unique, many of the feelings, challenges, and questions that arise following sexual violence are universal. Feelings of confusion, uncertainty, and powerlessness are experienced by victims across many different jurisdictions.
Renegade Advocacy specialises in the criminal justice system in Northern Ireland. If you are based outside Northern Ireland or your case falls under another jurisdiction, please mention this when booking your consultation. While legal processes and rights may differ, we can discuss your circumstances and explore how best to support you.

During the consultation, we will explore where you are in your journey, the questions you have, and the support you may need. Together, we can identify practical next steps and discuss how Renegade Advocacy may be able to support you.
Support can range from answering specific questions and providing short-term guidance, to longer-term advocacy and assistance navigating complex criminal justice processes.

Designed from a victim's perspective, these sessions explore the realities of trauma, disclosure, safeguarding, navigating the criminal justice system, and the long-term impact abuse can have on every aspect of a person's life.
